Description

The Ian Hanger Recital Hall is at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University located at 16 Russell Street, South Bank.
It is in South Bank’s cultural precinct, adjacent to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).
The Ian Hanger Recital Hall seats 200 patrons and hosts over 200 events every year. It is an intimate venue and perfect for solo and chamber music as well as lectures, demonstrations and rehearsals.

Seating Guide

Seating is normally unallocated and taken on a first come first served basis.

LATECOMERS POLICY Patrons are advised that latecomers will be admitted to the venue at a time predetermined by the concert promoter. Please ensure that you allow adequate time to find parking, and the use of other facilities prior to the commencement of the event.

Parking

A drop off area at the front of the Conservatorium is available for less mobile patrons.

Parking is not available on-site at the Conservatorium. Three public parking stations, BCEC, QPAC and South Bank Parklands, are a short walk from the Conservatorium.

South Bank Parklands (entry via Grey Street)
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (entry via Merivale Street or Grey Street)
QPAC (entry via Melbourne St - turn right just before you get onto Victoria Bridge)
Museum and Art Gallery (entry off Grey Street – just before the dinosaur! or the Stanley Street tunnel).

If you’re travelling to and from South Bank by car, use www.whereis.com.au to help you to find the quickest route to South Bank or you could catch a taxi.
